Here is the class of 96 with a very yong looking Reuben on the front row.Eventually all the students on the front row achieved Black belt as well as three from the second row.

Here we see Sensei demonstrating side kick, (this photo was used for promotional purposes back in 1994)

Here is another promotional shot taken in 1991. As you can see, Meriel was purple belt back in those days! This shot was taken on a very cold night in October and the result was excellent.

Here we see a youthful Sensei when he was brown belt. The shot was taken by Meriel who happened to click at exactly the right time.
In those days we had a simple film SLR camera and had to wait for the photos to be developed before we knew if the shots were successful.
